Heard lots of great things about this place and came specifically because of the fresh seafood. Didn't disappoint. Amazing to find a fish n chip shop that doesn't go the easy cheap route of frozen everything! The calamari and choice of fish was a killer. Definitely coming back to try the meat options!!! We ordered a flakes and chips; I ordered a medium of chips. The $10 fried flakes were average in size and tasted quite dry; it had no melt-in-your-mouth mouthfeel or decent fakiness at all. While there were a good amount of chips, they were slandered and boiled a little. To be fair for the owners, it was a very busy Friday afternoon with queues of people, but it was still a disappointing meal. read more.
