"One of the best Thai restaurants I have been to in Australia, and I have been to a lot.The Duck Red Curry was flavourful and the duck was soft and delicious. Our Kra Pao was full of fresh basil and the sauce was just perfect.I will be visiting Smiling Thai on every visit to Towoomba!"

"I had a coffee and a cake here. the staff and the environment were beautiful and the coffee was great. the disc of the cake was huge, but it tasted old and not so fresh. to visit a nice caffe"

"I’ll start by saying that the manager didn’t charge for my meal and threw in a dessert to share because of our terrible experience. Unfortunately that doesn’t make up for the bad service. My husband I ordered our meals. After about 20 minutes a waitperson brought out some sides after another 20 minutes my husbands meal was brought out (the sides were cold by this time). I had ordered fish of the day. I asked a total of three different staff if they could follow up where my meal is not one of them came back to give me an update. Eventually my husband went to the bar where he was served by the manager he advised that he’d finished his meal a good half an hour ago and I didn’t have mine. She then followed up but overall a poor service experience and the food was average."
