This restaurant is truly exceptional, as evidenced by the glowing reviews it has received. I was served a delicious prawn and crayfish pasta dish, with homemade pasta and bread, all prepared fresh. What sue doesn't like about The Green Dragon:
Staff are lovely. Attentive and helpful. The atmosphere of the dining room is nice. The food... generous portions but unfortunately the quality was not as good on our recent visit as we had had previously. View all feedback.
Gone are the days of service and effort. Our server came to the table with our drinks and just left the tray there with a grunt. The vegetarian roast came with boiled potatoes instead of the advertised roasties. And...wait for it...the Yorkshire had also made a disappearance. When asking staff just responded oh we 've run out . My apple and blackberry crumble took me back to school dinner days. I particularly liked the presentation which was submerged in custard so thick not even the straws on the left tray could help me. Glad we made a visit so we know to avoid this place in future.
Charming C16 building. Food all homecooked and delicious, very dog friendly in the bar area and lots of doggy treats which was a nice touch. Good beer and welcoming and attentive service.
Lovely local pub, great food and a great selection of drinks. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful too.
Seems like a really lovely pub. Open fires and cosy establishment. Food was great. And the staff where very friendly, happy and helpful.
Whilst visiting Alderbury we had lunch here. Great service, good food. Great menu. Good price.
