"This is our go-to Italian in the Salisbury area, and it always excels never a bad meal or experience. The staff are excellent and so is the food Parking: Parking is easy, but you need to take the right drive, which is really close to the resteraunt, Don't enter the car park next to the drive even to turn around. "Very friendly staff, warm welcome. Lovely food, beautifully presented and very tasty. Was a busy Saturday night with the a packed pub but service was excellent. New VEGAN menu was tried out by our vegan daughter who was very complimentary about the variety of different options and the quality of the food. Recommended."

"The cellar is a great place... the staff was friendly and courteous, recommended for our pregnant friends and wee for our alcoholic. only nniggle was, we had a table that was not under/at a fan so was very hot (also with door open) and would probably have done with a fork, but unlike that it was a great atmosphere. will be back soon!"

"Wanted to have a dinner above the ordinary but without having to empty my bank account. The Royal Oak helped me achieve both in spades. A fairly short menu cleverly covered so much ground and was so well laid out that my vegetarian and lactose intolerant dinner guest, firstly had choices and secondly did not have to discuss it with the staff as it was all clear to see. Enormously satisfying food, very willing staff, great location and a wonderful building. Well worth seeking out regardless of whether you are a Top Gear fan or not."
