"Amazing old pub had to be in some places as the blankets were so low!! Great food. Great service. Great manager. So happy we found this place that is not on site, and had a 50-minute drive to thank good, we were not disappointed. Will definitely go back and try in a nice walk before or after."

"We come here 7 or 8 times a year. Great food, loads of options for meat eaters and vegetarians and friendly staff. The food can sometimes take a little longer, but with BYOB and a great atmosphere, it's never been an issue! Definitely worth a visit, but make sure to book at the weekend!"

"My friends and I went to the Royal George near the end of our evening out and wished we had gone there earlier so we could have stayed longer, Reece(I think that was his name) the landlord is lovely, happy and really welcoming. We have organised another night out in a month or so and have said we are going to go there for the whole evening, the garden looks lovely . I used to frequent this pub regularly back in my youth and it hasn't changed one bit , it is still immaculate and all of the brass hung on the beams and walls all polished and gleaming. Can't wait for our next girls night out."

"This was a pleasant surprise, went for lunch with friends, haven't been to the Landford Poacher in years. Lovely friendly staff, good wine and delicious home cooked food, all at a reasonable price. The portions were large, the menu varied, no hassling by staff, but in view, should you need anything. Would highly recommend as a great pub, certainly nothing to match it within a 10 mile radius."
