"The food here is outstanding throughout the tasting menu (the beetroot meringue and the trout were our favourite). The personal notes from the chef was insightful and really enhanced the experience. The service is professional and attentive, but still remains warm friendly. This has been a highlight of our Lake District trip, and the restaurant definitely deserves its Michelin star."

"This is the second time that I have changed in pedros since it has changed. I didn't come to write a review last time, but should have done it. there is a great choice of tapas to choose, it was all hot served and all...lovely the service was good (unfortunate with a big party in the back room). finished with a delicious espresso martini, a fabulous evening"

"Fantastic little restaurant and take away! If you want to dine in better book before as they have very few tables and can get quite busy during prime time. We were lucky and got a table for 2 pax. Best papadums with the most delicious condiments Onion Baji fantastic and recommend with the red sauce that comes with the papadums Lamb Byriani probably the best price value we ever had and absolutely delicious Lamb Rogan Josh could have had more kick to it but super fresh and delicious Good to know that the chilies in the menu are actually English rating and not Indian. So next time I will definitely go for the 3 chilies. Portions are huge so recommendable to come in a small group and share. Will definitely want to go again during our stay as we agree with other reviewers that this probably was the best Indian in a long time!! Well done! Also service super friendly!"

"No longer a café, but a deli. The deli stocks a lovely selection of higher end foods. Some foods, such as oats and muesli, are available to purchase in your own containers. The cheeses were lovely. The pies, especially the Lincolnshire cheese and spinach pie, and the salads, tasted lovely. The bread was good. They also sell sandwiches and wraps."

"I had a pistachio ananas hammock as starter. the aromen all ran well together, the sink was also very delicate and well prepared. for my main dish I had pheasant with venison stuffing packed with bacon. I wasn't sure what to expect, because I never had tried that, but I was very pleasantly surprised. overall I have no complaints. the personal was friendly and welcoming."
