"We hosted a corporate retreat for 35 people at Scribner 's and were stunned by the helpfulness of everyone on staff, the beautiful settings (gorgeous scenery and lovely 'high-class rustic ' interior), the quality of the food and drinks, and thehelpful suggestions we received while planning our very particular event. We asked a lot of the Scribner 's team and theydelivered beautifully, staying flexible, available and communicative through the whole planning process and especially once wewere on site. Our group especially enjoyed having an activity in the beautiful garden, the no-cook appetizer and fermentationclass that Scribner 's organized, and the way the lodge facilitated both large group meetings as well as so many more privatesettings where our guests could have meetings or unwind in smaller groups. We struggled to organized transport for ourinternational guests but managed by working with several taxi companies in the area (also recommended by Scribners), so ifyou 're willing to put in a little effort on transport then Scribner 's will take care of literally everything else and yourentire group will love this venue! Thank you SO MUCH for your central role in making our retreat such a success, Kayleigh,Miranda, and the rest of the team!"

"Really cute atmosphere and decor. Came here for lunch. You can order at the counter, pay and tip, then find a table to sit at. This is a nice accommodation for a large party to be able to pay separate. I ordered the Portabella Mushroom Garlic Goat Cheese sandwich. It was delicious but there was way too much cheese on top I had to scrape some off! The marinated mushroom had a good flavor. My boyfriend ordered the Buffalo Chicken Wrap and said it was good as well. Being a group of 10, on the house, we were brought out some chocolates which was a nice touch. We visited the area on a weekend trip before heading home and it hit the spot."

"We had the perfect night away! from the second we went into the door we were greeted by the reception that gave us a full tour. that is absolutely beautiful. we went up to hang up the roof floor and played pool and brought a drink of the honorable who had great choice. we then went into our room and relaxed from the firefight to dinner. the restaraunt was just as great; I can think about how nice everyone here is. compliments as well as the cook. my man and I really enjoyed our time and plan to stay again. it really is such a special place"

"Pizza is great! Wings are really good. I just ordered boneless wings for the first time and they were done perfect. A little crispy but not over done, just the right amount so the sauce didnt make them mushy."

"Came in and were immediately greeted and seated by friendly staff. Placed our order for Paella immediately and was informed that it usually takes a while because is made to order. It came 20 min later and truth be told, I would have waited double the time because my god was it good! Stop in and try the food!"

"Food was not amazing at all… me and my family are not picky eaters at all! But the food was just not good : Like when you love eating food and it’s kind of heart breaking lol Fish and chips were super oily The crab sandwich was like a over friend crab And the water tasted so weird and WE ALL DRINK AND LOVE WATER! The waiter was super nice tho! But I’m not just paying for the service but the whole experience and that includes FOOD!!! I will not go back there"
