"I wanted to like this. I really did. A traditional pub that was still serving locals at the bar, so must have had something going for it. It started going wrong when I received orange squash instead of (concentrated) juice to be fair, they did change it, without fuss. Then the food came. Mine was fine: the vegetarian fajitas a sizzler, so a bit of a showpiece; and I thought it was fine and generous. My wife went for the fish and chips, but beneath the batter the fish tasted dry and frankly old. Because it was a bit hit and miss, this is not a place we are likely to try again. Sorry."

"Absolutely Amazing food and service! (Especially the lamb! We were not meant to be eating in here initially but we looked over and the shawarma looked so delicious we just had to go in. The place is small but thats not an issue because it's very CLEAN! As mentioned we were on our way to a different place to eat so when we walked in we had NO idea what to order. I'm guessing it was the owner, was so patient and talked me through what he thought would be best to order and what would be included in it. He started us off with lentil soup- and oh my days there was an explosion of flavours in my mouth! Never have I tasted lentil soup as delicious as that! While we got over that our table was wiped down and our main dish was bought to us- we went for the mixed grill- I prefer lamb and was delighted to hear it was actually lamb used and NOT mutton! Portion size was very good, I would recommend having a read of the menu as there's alot included in it, we had some left over that we brought home. I picked up a piece of lamb thinking it's going to be chewy but I was really surprised that it was so soft and succulent! None of the flavours were overpowering and we really enjoyed our meal. And once again as we finished our meal, our table was swiftly cleared and aromatic tea bought to us -I'm not a tea person- especially if it has no milk- but I found myself sitting there drinking this delicious warm aromatic tea WITH a piece of chocolate orange brownie. I would highly recommend visiting this place. You will not be disappointed! And it's FRESH FOOD, nothings being brought out from the back it's all there Infront of you."
