One of Darwin's oldest Clubs and to be fair hasn't changed all that much - pokies been added and a TAB but vibe is still of an older Darwin Pub. Friendly staff, cold beer and reasonable Club prices. Food is basic but good with a generous serve - no fanfare. Entertainment some Friday nights and weekends - usually good ol' country and well received by locals. All sports on Fox. Good chill out and plenty of characters t... View all feedback.

Face it - It's a working man's pub complete with sports betting and pool tables, and full of grubby manual workers, and there is nothing wrong with that, but there is almost no atmosphere or ambience there.However..... It does have the most amazing food and the prices are awesome. A tasty fish and chip meal will set you back about $14. There is a lot of hearty roasts, stews, and pies.If you are travelling on a budget... View all feedback.
This club is amazing! The atmosphere is great, the staff are incredibly friendly, and the food is delicious. We decided to have dinner here while waiting for my partner. It had been years since I last visited. The menu isn't extensive, but the options are good and reasonably priced, so it's great value for money. The beer is reasonably priced too. The pace inside is comfortable. We will definitely be returning.
This was my first visit to this restaurant and I was pleasantly surprised. I attended a comedy show and was impressed by the helpful door staff who escorted me to my table promptly and without any issues. The place was quite tidy and clean, exceeding my initial expectations.
We came in for a wines in Feb/Mar to start the night off. There is no entry via customer parking if you aren’t a member (no notices in customer parking) so we walked to the beer garden carpark and that was the same. Finally we...found entry and signed in. We were greeted by a racist painting on the wall and the woman who signed us in looked like a buffalo herself. Like other posts suggest- it’s a locals bar. All old gentlemen bar flies, average staff and not much else going on...it’s a weird feeling walking in. The staff are not so friendly and the wine list is very dated with some poor wine selection. Beers were no colder than other places but I thought that they were over priced for the sort of venue. Pool is only so massive tick. We were going to order food but the chef didn’t look hygienic and from what we saw come out we were glad we didn’t waste our money. It wouldn’t be a bad place to start your night before heading to town but I think it needs some lifting. The place is sombre and really lacks life. Not many people go there and most are quite daggy
Buff club has good raffles and friendly locals. Has the old fashioned bar where you sit at the bar. Everyone was friendly and the service was quick.
From the outside I was a little doubtful but we had a very nice lunch cooked by a friendly lady who did not mind us changing the menu slightly. I would recommend this for lunch or dinner and prices were very reasonable.
