We visited today for a special celebration. The restaurant was warm and cosy and the fire added to the lovely atmosphere. The food was excellent as were the drinks. What makes this place really special is the amazing customer service. We were treated like old friends and nothing was too much trouble. In our opinion this is the best restaurant on the Wirral. Lovely place but we were so disappointed with the lunch as the chips which are a rare treat for us, were awful. They tasted as though they had been cooked 2 days ago and been reheated several times. A small discount to our bill was given but did little to make up for a very disappointing meal with friends. read more.
