"I asked the woman at the till if the restaurant was halal. She kindly answered a yes. I trusted her so I ate the chicken options which she confirmed were halal. What really worried me was the fact that I didn't see any halal certification or ask if there was any alchohol in some of their food. It was a delicious experience however and the food was well made and fresh. It was great and all, I'm just not sure if I was allowed to actually eat the food I never took a picture sorry"

"My favorite restaurant! service is excellent, could not be better. the decoration is also beautiful. also the amuse-bouchée, a good note. pictures speak for themselves to be honest! my lamb was particularly delicious. the pineapple was beautiful! good value the money"

"Chinese new year 2022. the restaurant was packed (with East Asia, also to myself, which is always a good sign) but the compromise between service and quality of food. it was so tasty, fresh, and the tee and scurry were regularly refreshed. great menu. not huge, but had everything we wanted, and some new things we had not tried before. they even grabbed my rest until home. I think this has become my new goto Chinese restaurant outside londons. it was great. highly recommended."

"We have been visiting Runnymede Left Bank for over 7 years, and in recent experience the quality, options and service has deteriorated massively. Especially, if you have gluten intolerance, options are very limited. I remember from years ago, where the on demand mains were prepared with flavours, fresh and good quality. My latest experience was a disaster, where vegetarian main options were roasted peppers, flavourless pasta and greasy pizza. I would highly recommend the management to consider a different, fresh and latest menu with more vegan, vegetarian and free from options. Not changing with times is not an option and I would be really sad to see if they don’t do keep up with changing consumer behaviour and needs."

"We'd heard good things about this restaurant but I was disappointed and unfortunately on a visit to Cardiff the next day we found ourselves booked in to another Italian restaurant there. I couldn't help comparing and what a difference. The squid was like rubber and the veal, though reasonably tasty, the sauce could hardly be described as pepper sauce. I also objected to having to pay an extra £4 to add a vegetable and a bit of colour, in this case peas, to the plate Surely vegetables should come with a meal. Of the other three one agreed with me. One had to add lots of pepper to the so called sauce diablo and the fourth was satisfied As for payment Cardiff was better value all round."
