"I was on vacation in alstonville and visited ballina while I was there. dorys takeaway has the most incredible food. I went back during my stay in a week. the service was amazing, my eating was cooked with love (you can just say). I recommend the roasted chicken burger and if they still have the soft-shell cerebral roller specifically that I also bleed my head!"

"Public holiday, not much open it town so this place was busy. Staff managed to keep on top of everything, quickly clear tables, take orders and serve great food quickly. Try this place if you like flavoursome food. We had traditional cafe food (such as eggs on toast BLAT) as well as delicious asian inspired salad and felafel plate and it was all fantastic. We'll be back."

"We had morning tea at Cafe Cappello today, for only the second time. Well, what a fabulous place! Staff are just amazing, polite and couldn't do enough for us oldies! The coffee and food are amazing and the position is fabulous! Highly recommend! Next time...we go to Lismore we are going to have our lunch there."

I ordered the mushroom katsu, and my companion ordered the auberginen dengaku. both dishes were beautifully prepared and presented with beautiful aromas and combinations of ingredients. every detail, up to the rustic cherry and prompt and polite service, was well prepared and added to the experience. Veg*n dishes are identified on the menu, workers are helpful and worth knowing if they are not sure about budgets. bonus: outdoor seats, wood furniture and trees, garden suns."
