"I would love to give this place 10 Stars if I could! Gareth and Eriko have started something very special in Woodend. From friendly, smiling front of house staff to bang on, おいしい Japanese cuisine which is the best I have had outside of Tokyo, this place ticks all the boxes! I only hope that us 'locals ' can get a table when the cool and trendy Melbournites find out how amazing this place. All the best with your exciting journey!"

"Well stuck at a lovely accom in Lancefield with no food and no car! Was planning on eating at the accoms restaurant but was CLOSED. So i called Lancefield Takeaway...Rob the owner offered to deliver steak sandwiches etc to me but I had no cas on me to pay. So Rob offered to come pick me up so i could get cash out and pickup my food and drop me back to my accom! Just finished a delish steak sandwich and chunky fresh cooked chips...Thanks Rob! Country hospitality at its best!"

"Each restaurant in kyneton face stiff contest, as there are many good ones to choose. the good that the chips were great, like the selection of beer and cocktails. the ambiente is also relaxed and welcoming. that I didn't think the burgers had a little more salate in them that I had was only flesh, soak and cheese. the bungalow was also quite dense and chewing. good taste directions, but room for improvement."

"I just ate the most delicious meal. Beetroot fritters, vegan version, with mushrooms and avocado. The different flavours all worked so well together. Can't recommend enough. And the chai latte with their home made almond milk, one the the best I have had."
