After walking around the town, decided to have lunch here. On a chilly winters day it was so nice to sit down in such a warm cosy dining room. Good pub menu, very clean and a lovely welcoming waitress. View all feedback.

The food was average, like typical pub food. The staff were generally friendly, but the owner/manager was extremely unfriendly and rude to customers. I will not be returning. View all feedback.
I have been here a few times with friends and the food and service is usually great- I just wouldn't order the vegetables with a schnitzel as they are soggy! Salad is good though! We will definitely be back again!
We were part of 30 plus group booked in for Lunch on Sunday. The "WOW" factor was all the little things they had done to make us welcome. Warm wood fires burning in both lounge/dinning & bar, Special menus for our group all printed and on the tables. Greeted with warm smiles from all the staff. The FOOD, to die for great portions scrummy yummy. Pauline had Chicken Roulade and I had the Mushroom Pie not a crumb left on either plate nor on any other club members plates. Thank You Woodside Hotel for a great Lunch.
Many of our gathering chose to have the schnitzels and they were a good size and very tasty. Great range of optional toppings so something for everyone. Service was friendly and efficient, a great experience.

I went here with a group of friends for dinner. The service was great and meals were delicious- everyone was very happy with what they had ordered! Prices were also reasonable.
