"Don't come to Lorne without visiting Ipsos, an amazing Greek restaurant. My wife & I were blown away by the food, atmosphere & service. We ordered the slow cooked lamb, served with mixed greens and an almond/hummus sauce. Truly amazing; savoured every bite. This restaurant was a highlight of a great holiday exploring Lorne and the great ocean road."

"It is surprising to read the previous reviews. Either this place is under new management or these customers have very low expectation. Service is slow, unprofessional, the table was dirty, nobody came to clean it up. We tried several times to call the waiter and we eventually left after a while without placing our order as nobody never showed up after a very long time! Please do something else, you are not suited to be in the hospitality business."

"On our Australian trip we had been advised that Lorne was a wonderful place to stop. It was. Poor accommodation was great but just below or accommodation was the best thing ever. Lorne Central.With big airy rooms and veranda tables, Lorne Central is typical of lots of places we ate at, the prices comparing well too. But the food? Oh my...My Chicken Ceasar Salad was amazing. The rest of the family had equally amazing food. And best of all my half vegetarian family were completely satisfied. Of you are going to Lorne eat at Lorne Central. Period."
