What Manuel Valdés doesn't like about Bar Restaurante Moncho:
in the course of the years we have eaten a restaurant. eating is well prepared, not big help, but always hot and freshly cooked. it is in the lower price scale of restaurants in xativa and they do what they pay. it may not be a place where they would take friends if they want to impress them, but ok for a quick lunch in a pleasant environment. our main complaint was slow service! "The signature paella need to be pre-ordered which we had not done. We got the seafood paella and this was made to perfection. The wine was excellent and a good selection to choose between. We choose the cheese cake and creme brûlée for dessert. Very delicious and well prepared. We came in for dinner at 8:30pm to a complete empty restaurant. The crowd came in at 10pm. The atmosphere is good both with few and with many people in the restaurant. Best of all was the very friendly and personal service. Top rating from us!"
