We have stayed here twice while visiting in Laidley. First time we were there for a mid-week weekend. We stayed at the QN up the road for the first night & changed to the Exchange for the second. Best decision we could have made. Very typical of well-maintained Aussie pub accommodation, especially given the building is over a century old. Worst night out. 12 of us for a meal. Waited for over an hour after ordering only to be told only 1 serve of lamb cutlets left. I just got my money back and sat there. Still took another half hour for meals to come out for others. 3 were wrong and sent back. Told they were out of prawns and gravy. One person ordered mushroom gravy and was given dianne.
