Dch - York

What jadelrio likes about Dch:
We enter and asked for meals in the middle of the day, we were visiting some Pub but kitchen Pubs were closed. We were surprised for the very nice and charm environment in DCH restaurant, we asked for the traditional fish and chips with salads as sides and they were great. What MVC499 doesn't like about Dch:
We had Sunday lunch. The main courses (beef and fish) were fine although the mustard sauce rather swamped the fish. The vegetables were cooked well. The pudding were a disappointment rather bland and lacking in flavour. The views towards the Minster and St Michael le Belfry are very attractive and the crowds milling about kept us entertained while we waited for our food.
