"I've wanted to eat here for years, but never got round to it so my husband booked for our anniversary. It was so worth the wait. The service was some of the best I've experienced, so friendly and attentive and the food was amazing. I had black pudding to start and lamb for my main. My starter was huge, it would have done me as a main course, and delicious. But the lamb, oh my goodness. Cooked to perfection, it melted in my mouth and was so flavoursome. I can't wait to go back."

"We were bought a 3 course meal with Prosecco as a gift for my wife passing her dissertation. We had not been to Bistro Guy before but the menu looked interesting and we were served bread with dips as well as a sorbet after the sweet at no extra cost. All the food was delicious, and the sauces with the main courses were extremely tasty and the veg and meat cooked to perfection. I would only have one complaint; the piano music played through a distorted speaker was painful at times, but I am sure if we had mentioned this at the time it would have been changed, and did not spoil our enjoyment of the food."
