Excellent specials and well worth the money. We ate in. The meal was hot and the batter stayed crispy; even after it was hit with malt vinegar. The mushy peas needed to cook longer, but they were ok. I hope you have the same experience as us and we are definitely going back soon!!!! read more.

Fish was dry. Halibut. Is that possible? . Fries were good. Homemade tartar sauce was um, disappointing and flavorless. You have to pay for packaged tartar sauce. we did take out . Service was wanting. this was take out . they forgot the coleslaw for our order. And the napkins. Each time they had to be called from the back to ask for these things. They do not take mastercard. "A local restaurant in Main St. Newmarket, The Goulash House is a must if you try delicious Hungarian cuisine The menu is accessible via a QR code and as soon as you are ready, just let the server know. We ordered the Beef Goulash and Schnitzel on a bun (you can choose between chicken or pig, and both took about 10-15 minutes to come. I loved the Beef Goulash, it was very tasteful and there were also a lot of delicate beef sticks in it. I would say it is the perfect delicious meal to have on a cold winter day! The carving on a bun was also very nice, the rolls were soft and the chicken was also nicely broken. It is similar to a Katsu, but it is much thinner, less flaky and definitely not tasted as oily. Try Abit of Bread in the Goulash, it is a great combination The scavenger on a bun also came with fries and I loved how it was nicely seasoned too!
