"Meant to visit this place the last time we were in Zermatt, but getting there didn’t work out (because of the weather). First challenge is finding it in Findeln. Basically, you ski down to the Enzian restaurant and walk past it on the track for 50 100 meters. The service we received from a Liverpudlian waitress was wonderful and the way she ‘kicked us out’ after the allotted 1 1/2 hour slot was inspirational. But the food is excellent, although in common with the other ‘gourmet’ places in Findeln, is quite pricey. However, the place is a sun trap, with stunning mountain (Matterhorn) views. Highly recommended. The reason I made a point of wanting to visit was that it is owned and formerly run by a ski school instructor I had back in the 1990s."

"This was our final meal in Europe after hiking the Haute Route. It did not disappoint. We had the flambeed rack of lamb for 2. Just perfect! Service and presentation were excellent. Highly recommended."

"We had the specialty Moroccan butternut squash dinner with couscous. Superb!!!Sparky, the owner, greeted us and told us about his early life in Jersey and his many years in Switzerland. Such a warm and welcoming guy! We had traveled from Zug just for one night. Great dining experience in Zermatt."

"They should definitely look at this place in distort. the settings decoration itself are worth the visit. eating is great their specificity, the lamb, is a must to try just expensive, but the settings quality of food made it worth it. the 1 little experience (hence 4, not 5 reviews) was when one of the employees gave us a rather unpleasant look when we ordered 2 pornstars 1 starter for 2 adult 2 young teens. we know that the order is little, but we did not want to order too much as we are generally small eaters the children had some snacks before dinner. we ended the ordering of another kinder meal (which is a great part) fought a bit at the end to end our food. we did not want to order too much with food waste. we need to do more about our fighting planet earth"

"We made a reservation....but not at this restaurant. Our mistake, but the hostess was totally accommodating, despite the restaurant being quite crowded. I had the Ruccolacreme-Suppe (Arugula Cream Soup) which was very good. My wife tried the Raclette (A traditional Swiss dish described on a Google search as based on heating cheese and scraping off the melted part, then typically served with boiled potatoes. Wasn 't sure what to expect, but it was excellent. For our mains, we had the Fondue Bourguinonne and the Fondue Chinoise (3 different meats-veal, pork and beef). Hard to choose which was better, but both were delicious. They came with 5 different dipping sauces. A very fun dinner!"
