"Spaghetti works is one of my favorite places to eat whenever I am in the Des Moines area. It 's in the middle of downtown in the perfect place. If you stay in the downtown area, you must try this gem. They have an awesome salad bar. You can load up on greens and then they have the best 'junk ' to add to your salad. Then once you are done with all the salad comes the garlic bread and pasta! When I say pasta, I mean Loooord Jeeeeeesus. They have so much pasta to choose from. Gluten free, whole grain, normal pasta etc. Then to top it off they have 12 different Sauces to choose from. You can even mix and match them to your liking! Meat, beer cheese, pesto, Alfredo and many more. Best thing is. . .they are kid friendly. Please take a moment and try this divine place! If you like pasta. . . It 's well worth the visit."

"We've gone here a few times and it's a bit hit and miss. First couple times was really good but the last time was a let down. My wife's pizza crust was really soggy and my calzone was wattery in the middle. Not what you want from brick oven pizza. We'll try it again and hope for the best."
