"There are many more places to dine at around Lygon Street Carlton so please check them out. We ordered a steak sandwich with chips for lunch and we received a stale seeded roll with some type of poor grade meat which we could not even cut & the chips were burnt fries. We could not eat one part of this meal & took it back to the counter and requested our money back, now I can see why the place only had a couple of people in there at peak lunch time."

"Stumbled across this wonderful little place only yesterday on our way to the Nova cinema.What a find it was for us.My partner had the Duck Pate baguette, and I had the Quiche Lorraine.The Quiche Lorraine was delicious as it was so thick and creamy and appeared to have lardons in it, which enhanced the flavour even more.The pastry was perfect. I would not usually choose to have this dish but I am so pleased I did.My partner enjoyed his baguette.There were many other dishes to choose from, and all the other customers seemed to be enjoying their meals.The service was excellent, and the French accents just added to the experience.The food is a nice change from all the Italian eateries surrounding it.I would highly recommend a visit if you have not already been.We certainly want to re-visit when we are next in Carlton"

"I've been seeing alot of foodies posting food from this place so decided to check it out. The menu is quite extensive and has some Asian influence as the chefs are Indonesian and Thai. I like the minimal decor at this place. Service is pretty good. All the staff are attentive and you are greeted as soon as you walk in, however I felt that it was lacking the vibe. The coffee and chai was really nice. Foodwise, we had the Pandan panna cotta and the Avo toast. Both dishes were very nicely presented. The highlight for me was the panna cotta. It was creamy and light and the pistachio nuts with citrus truffle honey on the avo toast was delicious."

"Fantastic quality authentic Japanese cuisine. Service is great and staff is knowledgeable. Not many options (Hence 4 stars), but a range of vegan, vegetarian and GF options, marked clearly on menu. Recommend the Tofu Scramble and Oldashi Tofu. Beautiful cozy atmosphere inside. External seats are also available. Cash and EFT/credit card, but no amex."

"Love the breads, love the dumplings, love the beef and cabbage rolls we had. Took a while to get the waitstaff’s attention but other than that they were pretty friendly. A chill and homely place that I’d like to come back to."
