"As always we enjoyed our lunch at Miss Manitts. Chicken Salad Wrap with cranberries in the salad and an egg salad with bacon wrap. I was offered to have it warmed which I didn't think would be good but it was SO cold that next time I would do that. The Quiche was delicious and topped off with a cappuccino. Dee is always so warm and friendly - just like the ambience. Thanks Ladies!"

"First at all, la mie matinale has changed direction and is now located on ste catherine near papineau a little bit more further down towards the end of the village. it makes me very happy to point as a german who comes every second year for family reasons for xmas to montreal that the fab german xmas stollen and the fruit bread are well worth a visit. forget about fancy patissiers or premier moison, the stollen of la mie matinale is just the best. even in germany i would say it is very hard to find such a state iof the art stollen and fruit bread. our whole family in montreal and all our friends here love it. besides la mie matinale is a very funny gay place of the old style, friendly and funny ...the old style, no attitude and always ready for a joke. we promise we will never miss to go at least once while staying in montreal there........"

"Flour, a beautiful address in the heart of Mile-End. the kitchen is refined: the plates are beautiful at very reasonable prices. we loved the tomato salad with the aïoli and flowers, tuna or onion soup. good croissants, good pizza, go without hesitation all the more since the service is really warm!"
