"I was looking for a place for simple swadood dishes and saw the great reviews so decided to check it out. First of all, the prices are up about 20% from the last review, still very reasonable but not as cheap as some of rhe reviews mentioned. 2nd of all, it is not easy to find, down a tiny alley and right at the end. 3rd of all, it really felt like going to a friend or relatives house for dinner. Very unpretentious, simple cooking with good ingredients. we ordered the clam came cooked in white wine, butter) , the Octopus in green sauce super tender, boiled, not grilled but tiny serving) and the seafood rice came in a pot). Clam and Octopus form entree menu. The stock in the clams was excellent, the stock in the seafood rice was good as well but not as rich. But the rice was al dente and it was PACKED with seafood, 4 large unpeeled prawns, 4 peeled prawns, chock-full of mussels and clams We asked for some hot sauce and for 3 different types. Legend! We also had half a bottle of excellent Douro Valley red. all in, only Euro30. delicious and comforting."

"I had a nice lunch here. the owner chose a spectacular wein for us after we have given a basic note on our preferences. in any case would go with his recommendations. we started with the crispy dorschhaut, which was fantastic when they are a fan chicharron, that is for them. we had the fried egg with cadjau and pommes, which was also good, but the highlight of the starter was the smoked cadjau, which came really excellent with plucked wobble and perfectly roasted brot. for the net we had the monks and garnel pasta, while we did not have huge pasta fans that the monk in this dish was to die for. even if cod stole the show and we had the tempoura cods with rice. the texture and the excellent aroma of the tongues was incredible. highly recommended. we had the sausage and cheese plate where the cheeses were the highlight, with the traditional Serra cheese was one of our favorites."

"The reviews I had read about this restaurant were untrue. Very good, tasty, cosy, good atmosphere and very friendly. Daughter in the service, speaks good English and father in the kitchen and there they cook with love. Father and daughter can be proud of their business. My daughter and I definitely recommend this tent. they get a big ten from us. Tasty food and affordable"

"It 's my surprise birthday dinner and they have made some impression. It 's not like the standard Michelin star restaurant, it has the night club 's feeling as the music is loud (but sounds nice) and we can order dishes to share. It 's a kind of new experience. The dessert is impressive, normally I don 't really like dessert with chocolate that much but this 'blue moon style dessert is just a wow ."
