"I have dined at the Beijing 3 times and all the food has been excellent. Very similar to the food in Beijing China. The service was good and the restaurant is not crowded. My only caution is they have a very limited wine selection and the cheapest wine is not drinkable. The red wine at $40 is good. The owner is very hospitable and makes it a pleasant and enjoyable experience."

"I always welcome and try out new non-chain restaurants and was quite happy with the delicious food at Punje. South Surrey is sorely lacking in good Indian restaurants (it's divided from the rest of Surrey (and therefore a huge Indo-Canadian population) by a highway). The garlic naans were delicious, as was the butter chicken, aloo ghobi. It was a little salty but really good. I was not a fan of the loud Bollywood music which made it hard to have a conversation, but that shouldn't stop anyone from visiting!"

"As an avid foodie, with a long list of places that must be explored, I took a chance on this little hole in the wall a few months ago... and quickly stopped going anywhere else. All of the fancy restaurants on the promenade will have...to wait, I’m craving another vermicelli bowl night after night. If you’re touring white rock but the waterfront strip is too crowded come dinner time, Or you’re looking for something healthy and casual, I can’t recommend this place enough. Consistently fast and delicious, at a great price, and even has an online ordering system for take out. Personal favourites recommendations: Deep fried wontons Grilled skewers Chicken fried rice (great to share and even better as leftovers, it’s HUGE And my vermicelli bowl is amazing every time They even have waffle cones for desert, order a scoop when you’re at the counter to pay and then enjoy it as you stroll around town. Oh and lots of street and lot parking nearby. Just.. just go here."

"If my boyfriend and I want great food that never disappoints we make the teck from Maple Ridge to Charlie's it's hands down our favorite place to eat and the fact that they have gluten free options is even better as I have celiac and finding places that have a clear menu for gluten free and is safe and understanding and doesn't judge me for something I can't control. Safe to say Charlie's is my happy place. Ohhh and the view isn't half bad either Go see for yourself"

"Service was great very friendly and welcoming. We ordered the fish and chips. There was a small hair in the tartar sauce but the fish was good and crispy. Fries were overly salted. We also ordered the fish tacos, the fish was fresh but the tortilla was cold. Sat outside on the patio which was really warm but the plastic covering the outside was dirty and hard to see the ocean. Overall 3/5"
