"Madison was our server and did a good job. Starts with the wrong beer, not sure why she asked if I was sure it was the wrong beer. Replaced that and all's well until the meal is served. Meat is cooked beautifully but was warmish. potato. My wife extracted two tablespoons of cold butter from her baked potato and i fished one out of mine. Of course that meant the potato was cold. That seems a bit shoddy for a restaurant that fancies itself upscale with a $50.00 Prime Rib. Our experiences at this Keg have been less than stellar. We have been to a dozen or so Kegs and this one just cant seem to get it together. A shame as it is just up the street."

"The property has been sold and will be demolished for a condominium to be built and it shows in the quality of the experience. Strike 1: we ordered a 2019 Sterling Cab and were given a 2020. At $115 I expect to get what I ordered. Strike 2: the crab cakes (at $27) were stone cold in the centre. Their replacement was warm, at best. Strike 3: the “fries” turned out to be fried slices of potato (not fries) which were either hard as a crisp or super floppy. Strike 4: my bone in rib steak was supposed to be medium but was well done on the outside and only got close to being medium as I got nearer to the bone. To cap it off, as we were leaving, I was asked by a gentleman at the coat check how our evening was and so I explained the above issues to him. He said that the kitchen was busy and suggested that I come back and give them another chance. I replied that this would be an expensive gamble at $420 for 2 people. This conversation was all perfectly calm and amicable but out of the blue he called me a “horrible person” and then ran away. To my amazement, this “gentleman” was actually Steve Stathakis, THE OWNER!!!!!!!!! No wonder we had such a terrible experience if his is how the owner responds to feedback that he initiated. There are much better steakhouses in Toronto where you can enjoy a wonderful evening with very good food and without being insulted by the owner who then disappears before you can even reply to his barrage."

"The food is excellent and assistance from the staff if you are in need of help when ordering is first class. Nice clean restaurant with linen tablecloths, fast service ,but you do not feel rushed. Have been many times and it is top notch!"
