"Fantastic food ... terrific service. Went in tonight not knowing what to expect, and boy was I pleasantly surprised. The view from the street doesn't do it justice ... this is a nice, cozy restaurant with great atmosphere.<br <br Upon arrival we were served bread and chips salsa. Chips are home made (nice touch), and the salsa was terrific. Not sure of all the ingredients in there, but this salsa is not as chunky as Mexican, and not as spicy. But it was tasty, that's for sure. For an appetizer we ordered a special tapas plate fried provolone ... it was great, well seasoned and not as salty as some greek (saganaki) alternatives. <br <br For the mains we had the skirt steak and the garlic shrimp simple and delicious. The skirt steak was excellent well marinated and seasoned, cooked perfectly to medium rare. The steak was seasoned with garlic and brushed with a hint of butter, and came accompanied by roasted vegetables and delicious garlic potatoes. The garlic shrimp came sizzling on a hot skillet and were accompanied by fragrant rice and roasted vegetables. The shrimp were fair size and deveined ... well executed, again.<br <br Overall a very pleasant, terrific tasting experience. The service was fast and friendly and helpful when asked. Well done.
