"#1 Favourite spot on our trip to Bar Harbor without a doubt hands down. Large beer selection, excellent food and a beautiful view of the marina. It was such a beautiful day low 70's and a bit cloudy a perfect day to sit on the terrace. The Pub Dip and Reuben were great choices along with a Guinness to wash them"

"My sister and I stayed one night in the inn and we were very happy. the location is very favorable to foot in the inner city bar harbor area. there are also parking spaces in front of location. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast with several vegetarian options. the owners also had a delicious snack on the afternoon. we would stay here definitiw again! updated by previous review on 2018-11-20"

"Good lunch. Pizza was a bit burned down like 1/2 of it. But it was still delicious. Lobster roll was delicious. We had recommended the blueberries beers in the area that we got was a good beer but nothing blueberry about it."

"We had a great view, wonderful meal and fastastic service. Our expectations were exceeded when they told us it would be a 35 minute wait for a table and it was ready in 10. We had a lobster cake for an appetizer and it was wonderful. The haddock sandwich was amazing and had great flavor. The blueberry mojito had good flavor but very little alcohol. Im a lightweight and normally could only have 1 drink. I didnt have even the slightest buzz but it was fine. Hope to go back next summer when visiting the area again."

"The lobster here is amazing! Make a reservation and be ready for a delicious culinary experience! The waitress was friendly and answered all of our questions and made recommendations when asked. The lobster tacos are really divine! All over wonderful experience for dinner in Bar Harbor! We went back for breakfast as they were able to seat us right away and it was just as amazing! The hollandaise sauce on the lobster omelet is one of the best I've ever eaten! Ditto on the lobster Benedict. The lobster was delicious, NOT chewy at all! The mimosa was perfect and it just made the best brunch on the 4th of July!"

"My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Elmhurst! Cheryl is attentive and hospitable. My husband has a gluten allergy and Cheryl remembered even when we first checked in. We never had to remind her or her diligent staff. They had sweet or savory gluten free breakfast options ready for him every day. She accommodates other dietary restrictions as well! Breakfast everyday was delicious and beautiful. As an old house lover, I was smitten with the place as soon as we pulled in the driveway. The Elmhurst Inn is lovely, inside and out."

"We sat outside because we had dogs with us, and immediately the waitress brought a large bowl of ice water for the dogs without asking. She did this for another couple as soon as they sat down with a dog. Very friendly. The lawn was a nice touch on the outdoor seating area, which has a backyard picnic type to it (light noise from traffic, but not badly honest). We had a wonderful meal (fish n chips for me, crab cake for my wife), the portions were good and the quality was also up there, all for very cheap prices. One thing I really enjoyed, the server brought drinks, took order and then brought food, and then left you alone to enjoy your meal until it was time to bring the check. This is a much more European feeling and a breath of fresh air over the style of most American food sites where you are constantly being checked on, almost overlaid, by the server. Not here she was very attentive, but also respectful of our privacy to enjoy a meal and entertainment. Absolutely happy and will eventually return we hope!"
