"I have visited this wee garden centre many times always a good selection of plants and shrubs . The staff are friendly with lots of knowledge of plants and local agenda. The cafe side is value for money with good selection food and drinks and again friendly staff. The whole complex although Wee compared too some other competitors is kept clean and tidy and most of 'non pushy ' of plants or other seasonal products ."

"My husband and I were travelling home from a break in Dumfries and stopped off in Moffat. We came across this lovely cafe which is also dog friendly. I had the smoked salmon Brie toastie which was really tasty and also served with salad,...coleslaw crisps. We both then had home made scones which must’ve been made whilst having lunch as they were brought to us hot and fresh. I must admit they were amazing! Water was also provided for our dog. The staff were very polite friendly. Would highly recommend this colourful quaint cafe and definitely worth the money."

"Ung is too much troubleWe had afternoon tea today for 8 of us. The food was excellent, best afternoon tea I have had in ages. Brilliant selection of sandwiches and cakes and fresh cream scones. Service is excellent, nothing is too much trouble. Will definitely be returning."

"I'm giving it a 5* because the staff were so lovely and the food was very good. The bedroom was strange,with a storage cupboard and combi boiler in it. The bathroom was grubby but the shower worked well. The bedrooms and the upper part definitely need attention. The bed was comfortable and Tea making facilities are a bonus. Rooms: 2 Service: 5 Location: 5"

"We found this place when we played pitch and put, excellent food and very friendly service and the prices are great, there is no other place we're you can get fish and chips and just walk about eating them. ALL the others in Portpatrick charge about £14.00p you are having a laugh when you can get them for £6.00p, when sometimes you just want to sat at the sea front and relax they do lots of other food as well. Give it a try and save yourself some money."
