They serve delicious coffee and very nice cake . Lots of little gifts, and interesting art work. The waitress was very helpful in pointing out places of interest to visit in the area. I must say, the loo's were extremely clean, and you cannot say...that about a lot of cafes you visit. View all feedback.

This is a very good and opular cafe in sanquar, but it is under a new name and, I assume, possibly new owners. It is now Cafe A' the Airts.
Combining a small craft shop with a coffee shop this is a very welcoming place to visit. The cafe menu is modest but well-balanced with a few additional dishes...

"This was just wonderful in every way. A meal which completely outdid recent visit to Tom Kitchen restaurant in Edinburgh in every way. Beautiful food. Wonderful care very personal. Unobtrusive. Honest honest. And food sourced and grown locally. I was encouraged to run my finger round the plate to pick up the last drops of sauce. 'Feel at home '. So very relaxing. The four of us dining just loved it. Not cheap but excellent quality and value for money. Worth every penny and pound! Shall return!"

"The food here was okay but nothing out of this world. My husband had to send his food back as he had asked for the steak to be cooked well done but it was still pink inside. There wasn't much atmosphere however it was pretty quiet so perhaps would have been different if it had a few more people in"
