"Charming pub in wonderful location with the backdrops of pendle hill . the staff are all very young and a bit inexperienced, but so friendly and want to help nature with a great sense of fun. our room was well equipped with modern furniture, large showers, but reasonably small and done steps inside that could be difficult if they have mobility problems. we were at the coldest weekend of the year, with snow on the hills that was beautiful. to time the pub felt cold despite the log burner, but the warm friendly atmosphere and a circumference or two served as a winter warmer! the menu has changed since our previous visit was more traditional and the service was sometimes a little slow. However, the quality of the products was excellent and the meal times when they came all delicious, including the full English breakfast. overall we felt very at home here and had a fantastic stay"

"We used to go to the pub in Clitheroe that Carl Janet had and missed them when they moved to Chipping. We intended visiting them in Chipping but Covid, illness ect. prevented us going until last night. Nothings changed excellent food, huge portions. The butcher hadn’t delivered meat so only chicken or fish dishes on the menu but 7/8 different choices of each. They had the usual steak pudding or lasagne as well. I had a chicken sizzler with a lemon and ginger sauce, my friend had chicken in a cream brandy sauce and our husbands both had the steak pudding. We didn’t realise how much we’d missed them until we’d had our meal. Nothing is too much trouble. The wait was expected as Janet makes all the meals fresh but worth waiting for. Very reasonable prices for such quality food. We certainly won’t leave it as long to visit next time. EXCELLENT! Thank you for making us feel so welcome like long lost friends x"

"Thank you for providing such impressive buffet food for us last week. We had a hectic few days of courses which we were hosting, and so being able to rely on you to provide the food for everyone was great. As always dealing with Tastebuds is so easy, the service is fantastic and friendly. The food always wonderful and great value for money. You will always be our go to for hot or cold outside catering. "I came with a few freinds for lunch the cafe was extremely busy and all staff especially the young woman in glasses worked very well under the pressure. We were given many options to food and had a great laugh with the lovely woman in glasses who had earlier greeted us on our e Terence. Definitely a hidden gem would recommend food was brilliant!"

"Visited today with my parents, had delicious rounds of freshly made sandwiches very generously filled. Lovely and friendly service in a traditional tearoom. Distanced tables and handwashing on the tables felt very COVID safe. Planning to return for the homemade cakes and Friday pie lunches. Thanks Tim."

"We googled what was near us as the pub at the caravan park we was staying only served food on certain days , and we was so glad now as we found this place , staff are lovely and welcoming and the whole place has a lovely atmosphere. the place was very busy and food arrived piping hot in adequate time for how busy it was. we all ordered the fish and chips , which was very tasty home made chips :D was well worth the drive would happily return even if I had to drive the 2 hours from home."
