"Speisekarte übersichtlich aber für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Speisen ansprechend angerichtet und geschmacklich rund und ohne übertriebene Extravaganzen abgestimmt. Sehr lecker. Die Bedienung sehr aufmerksam, die Gerichte aller 10 Personen wurden in einem Rutsch ohne Rückfrage direkt am richtigen Platz und heiss serviert. Leere Gläser wurden unmittelbar abgeräumt, die Frage nach weiteren Getränken war dezent und unaufdringlich. Einfach angenehm. Der Preis ist in dem Hotelrestaurant etwas höher, aber gerechtfertigt. Die anschließend aufgesuchte Hotelbar ist umfangreich auch mit sonst seltener zu findenden Spirituosen bestückt, auch hier das Personal diskret und service-orientiert. Ein Lichtblick in einem Braunschweig, in dem die meisten Restaurants und Kneipen Montags Ruhetag und Dienstags bereits um 22:00 Uhr wieder geschlossen waren."

"We were in il gatto for dinner. we had ever chosen a first and a main dish. we would have been ready for a dessert, the waiter would not have ignored us. the appetizers were tastefully ok, although not necessarily aesthetically oriented. the saltimbocca alla romana was decided to salty, the parmaschinken too massig and the hauch of sage hardly perceptible. very disappointing! a glimpse- the wein was great! Overall, the impression was not that the guests like to be cooked and served locally. no wonder that on a Saturday evening enough tables were still free."

"Yesterday i had my dinner here with my friends. Very nice place, good view of the city. The wine and the plate was nice. Not enough choice in the menu, though. It was already late and for this it was getting dark. The small chandle...on the table was not enough to see what we were eating. I think that music and some other details like small lights were missing for a such nice place"

"The spatel was hard and not well seasoned despite the return of twice. when the order for the predator filet was received was not asked how the meat should be fried. After all, it was fried and naturally did not meet our requirements. overall, little professional. the kitchen was clearly overwhelmed here"
