"We stay at our hotel, in part, because it's walking distance from the 4 Stones restaurant. We're vegetarians and it's not common to find restaurants that are completely veggie. The food here is wonderful. We always order take out and have never eaten in the restaurant. It is very small, and though there is a flat entrance, a wheelchair would never be able to negotiate in the cramped space. The food is flavourful and they always ask about preferences for spicing so you can personalize a dish. It's maybe a little more expensive than other restaurants but the quality is much, much, higher. It's a great place, with a diverse menu and it's well worth the visit."

"My last visit here was more than four years ago. It's still popular and foods were good with a very reasonable price. A great neighborhood place for Japanese foods and never disappoints. Good choices in the menu some seasonal dishes too. Parking is free and normally available."

"Two words: CROWDED OVER-PRICED. We came to RIchmond from the states specifically to checK this out. We stayed next door at the RIver Rock Resort and Casino so didn't have to deal with parking. Admission fee is $7 but free if you are over 60 years old. The scene is mainly young adults. It was shoulder to shoulder crowded so difficult to see the food booths. Our friend ordered grilled octopus that came in small fries trays for $15 each; it was on the tough side. We got coconut ball drinks coconut meat and juice) for $15 each. I couldn't pass up a stand that sold onion pancake sandwiches thinking it might be Taiwanese beef rolls. The cashier/owner said they can make it so I ended up paying $8.50 for a plain tiny 4-bite sandwich with beef and hoisin sauce. The potato spiral sticks $9 pictured) were the most novel and delicious. It's nothing like the night market in Asia where you can sample yummy inexpensive street food. Good to check it out once but don't think we will return anytime soon."
