"This is hands down my favourite restaurant. My partner and I live in Little Italy and try to visit Mason Dixon at least once a month (sometimes more! for their amazing BBQ and great service. I always end up ordering the burger and fries (and the blue bourbon lemonade , and my partner gets the ribs, but truly, everything we've tried from their menu is fantastic. It's always great to see the same staff/owners there every time we go; it really feels like a neighbourhood joint."

"Zia and his staff does an amazing job keeping their guests satisfied. They know almost everyone's names and greets you right when you enter the cafe. The food is a blend of Western, Mediterranean, German, and many other dishes. Zia loves to experiment with cooking so he always has different things on the menu. he also insists if you want anything extra on your meal onions, more spice, etc) that you ask for it, and he will be glad to make it to your liking. The fries are amazing!! Sadly, it's only available on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so I have to seek it somewhere else when I get salty snacks cravings. Kris, the phenomenal and sweet barista, makes my coffee so perfect, that I only order it whenever she's around. Here are some of the daily specials they've had: The price is around $10-$12 and comes with Daily soup or salad if there's no fries. Chicken Biryani Saffron Rice Chicken Butter Chicken Curry Chicken Schnitzel and Mashed Potatoes Poutine Special Mediterranean Chicken Wrap Mexican Wrap Housemade Lasagna Steakhouse BBQ Burger with Fries Mushroom Burger with Fries One of the cons would be at times the menu items are a tad expensive. Like the poutine is $7 tax! Although it's a large size, you're better off ordering the burger and fries for $10 tax only if it's on special that day) A slice of Banana bread is $3 tax per piece X_X."

"Went to The Fry last night and I have to say I was really impressed. Past reviews really made me nervous based on the fact that some said the service was bad etc etc. We showed up around 7:30, the tables were full so we sat at the window which was perfectly comfortable, good chairs, good view of the street. We knew we wanted the green onion chicken but they said it would be about 20 minutes for the sauce to be ready so we decided to wait the 20 and get some sides to start. In the photo's you can see we ordered the calamari and corn with cheese. Both were really good, the calamari was a little chewy but the breading was good and we LOVED the sauce that came with. The corn with cheese came screaming hot, not really my cup of tea in the end but my boyfriend really enjoyed it. <br/>The chicken was really the crowning jewel of the night though (see pictures , the sauce was perfect, really sweet which went well with the chicken. It was really hot which I like, I hate getting what feels like old chicken when I go to chain restaurants. We opted for the boneless chicken large size, just to make it easier and each piece was amazing, super moist inside and crispy outside. If you do get the large size, it is a full chicken so beware but it's also only a $10 difference from small to large so we figured anything we didn't eat we'd just bring home (which we did, and in the oven it heated back up nicely, not as crispy but still very good .<br/>Over all I would say the service was really great. They give you water at your seat so you aren't constantly asking for refills, we didn't order drinks aside from that so I can't speak to how attentive they are for refills but based on the timely preparation of our food and any other requests we had, it was amazing for just 2 staff members tending to everyone. <br/>We'll definitely be back! It was worth the trek through -12 C weather :"
