"Place is overpriced and food isn’t all that good. Had a drink and ordered food to go and I shouldn’t have. Definitely not welcoming for a person that looks like me. On top of that, charged me all that money just to get my order wrong! Skip this place, you’re not missing anything. Never going there again, wish I checked order before I left."

"I am not a very picky person (as you can see from previous reviews), however, this is one of my least favorite meals. I ordered the coconut aguachiles, mushroom tinga, and mushroom quesadilla. The aguachiles had virtually no flavor, and really needed salt and lime. Honestly, it didn’t taste anything like I remembered. The mushroom quesadilla came on a sauce that I just personally did not enjoy. The mushroom tinga was the best dish of the night, but again it wasn’t mind blowing. There are so many better vegan options in Hillcrest and San Diego, I just would not recommend choosing this place unless someone non veg really wanted to come. The food unfortunately doesn’t taste nearly as good as it looks. The service is also spotty. The person offering water and cleaning the tables was very kind, the waiter was not rude but not friendly either. Side note: my family ordered the non veg menu and also did not enjoy their food. "I stopped there after reading some reviews and talking to the hostess. You double checked and let me know that the tortillas are not vegan, so if you plan on a Soyrizo Burrito then just be aware that. You have a vegan option that is the slider, but we haven't eaten there."

"The Country Benedict was everything I ever wanted in a breakfast. An amazing biscuit, perfect country fried steak, cheesy eggs, and a generous amount of savory gravy. Topped with chopped bacon and crispy fried onions. So, so good! Definitely coming back!!"
