"We found this place due to the trusty HappyCow and it was a very welcome surprise. They have a fantastic range of items in the health food shop on the ground floor, including lots of vegan-friendly cosmetics. The cafe is upstairs, fairly big being spread out over a few rooms, and has lots of vegan options. The day we visited three of the cake options were vegan. The vegetarian sausage sandwich is vegan, as was at least one other breakfast savoury course. They also had a choice of soya, almond and oat milk for the coffees. Impressed."

"We took the Exmoor Coaster bus from Lynmouth and called here for lunch as you know where you are with a Wetherspoons. Food up to the same great standard and quickly arrived considering how busy it was, staff friendly and checking if we were ok. Top marks all round"

"Found this Cafe through Happy Cow and popped in for a bite to eat. As it was during Covid they were only doing Take-Away. The lady didn’t have many options on display although she was keen to suggest something I could have. I ended up ordering Linda McCartney sausages and salad in a baguette. They use Flora and the bread is fine too. She also said she used Vegan Quorn as she was making suggestions for other options. I would have had total faith that anything offered would be lovely and SFV. The baguette was super tasty and filling."

"When you think of a supermarket breakfast you think BIG, cheap and filling. Ordered a large breakfast and it was tiny... 2 sausages, 2 bacon, 1 hash brown, 1 mushroom, 1 black pudding, 1 slice of toast, 1 egg, small pot of beans... and that was over £5! to add items it's 75p per item! Also that didn't come with a drink not even a little cup of tea!? It was all a bit poncy to be honest. They are trying to be to fancy for Morrisons. Stick to cheap and easy! Don't get me wrong it was nice... it's just not a Morrisons breakfast. Wish we went to the Brewers Fayre would have been cheaper for more food."

"Overall the food was good except for the triple cooked chips which were very greasy, soggy and limp and not as you would expect triple cooked chips to be. We didn't eat the chips and mentioned to the waitress when she came to collect our plates that we were disappointed with them. The landlady came over to our table with a very poor approach and bad attitude blaming the potatoes that were delivered, she was argumentative and very defensive. We didn't receive an apology and I can honestly say that her demeanour was quite shocking, I have never been treated like this ever in a pub after offering some simple feedback"

"We dropped in here due to our niece wanting a chocolate Ice cream. We had eaten at scoops in Butlins, but the chocolate flavour was a little to bitter for her. here the ice cream was delicious the staff friendly."
