"Staying outside Stranraer so would only offer delivery via taxi, we decided to drive to collect instead. Still nice hot after arriving back with the food, pizza's lovely, chicken mixed kebab very watery had to drain out of tub apart from that flavours were nice."

"Delicious home made soup and freshly made sandwiches.Would have scored 5 stars but slightly too long a wait for drinks and then food to be served.We've visited twice whilst in the area, so it isn't too big an issue, just don't be in a hurry to go anywhere afterwards"

"We called in here on a particularly wet and dreary Sunday to a nice warm and friendly cafe. I chose ham, cheese and pineapple toasty. My partner had soup then a toasty. His soup was homemade turnip soup which was very good. My toasty was perfectly cooked and served with a lovely fresh side salad and crisps. The toasty was one of the nicest anywhere. I had a bite of partner's millionaire cake which was lovely too. So glad we called in for late lunch, thoroughly enjoyed it."

"Popped in here while visiting Dumfries and had breakfast. Which was outstanding, great fresh produce. Good price and amazingly polite friendly staff. Enjoyed it that much returned again few days later before heading home but decided on lunch this time and like breakfast it didn’t disappoint. Portion size are great also fully recommend if going stop off gif a bite to eat. Good garden centre also picked up a few plants that my wife was after for our garden back home."

"Good quality pub food. Great choice of dishes for adults and kids. Great service and nice environment. None of us got one but a couple on the table next to us ordered one and the steaks looked fantastic. The homemade deserts were a really nice way to finish a good meal. We will definitely return."

"We were touring around the Lockerbie area and looking for somewhere to have a spot of lunch when we came across this old school now a popular community centre . We had excellent homemade soup of the day , leek and potato , followed by homemade cheesecake both were delicious . What a good idea to turn a redundant school into such a thriving and popular community base for the locals and visitors , we had a warm welcome and immediately felt at home"
