Out for a walk in Kippford on a chilly Christmas Eve afternoon we were delighted to discover that the café was open. The staff apologised for the fact that there was no hot food available, which made our choices easier; tea/coffee and traybakes. View all feedback.
What Scottish Hidden Gems doesn't like about The Ark:
We have always wanted to try this little cafe, there is not much choice of eating places in the winter season so it was really our only option. The toasties and paninis are £7.95/£8.95 and are meant to come with crisps and salad but this was missing from our order so two slice of bread and melted cheese for £8? Totally ludicrous!
