"Had a catchup with a friend for dinner & decided to try the Basement Brewhouse. Enjoyed a lovely cocktail to start, there is plenty of space to relax and have a drink or two. Decided on a burger, the Flamin' Scotch, and was not disappointed. Onion rings & sweet potato fries are great also. Service was prompt. Many TV's around and the footy was on so it's not a quiet area.It's a shame it's over 18's only, as my son would love the burgers they offer."

"Loved the all the different types of foods available. Sashimi and Sushi was amazing. Such great cuts and so fresh. The meals all came out so quick. The kids loved their chicken and rice and they gave them their own little bowls and cutlery."

"Customer service was at a low, I blame the manager who was very very rude to his staff. Food was good and reasonably priced however service was extremely messy, and after observing the manager, he needs to be replaced asap. I want to support the food but I don't want to support the rude treatment of staff."

"Basing my review off their combination beef pho. Super tasty and comforting! The soup is so flavoursome and I can totally understand why this place is so popular and rated one of the best pho places in Sydney. Only downside to the combination beef pho for me was the tendon. It was very tough and hard and I had to leave a piece behind because I couldn’t even bite into it. I expected the tendon to be super soft and melt in the mouth like some I’ve had in the past. Nonetheless, still a very enjoyable meal! A bit on the pricier side at $16-17.50 for a bowl of pho but staff were pretty efficient! Would come back but not my favourite pho place in Sydney in my opinion. Also, take note it’s a cash only restaurant."

"Terrible customer service, staff are only interested in themselves their wage and not your dining experience. The tastless bland food the deserts are stale. Flies in the food not covered properly The air condition feels hot and doesn't seem to work on hot days instead of using side plates the utensils for the food are left in and on the hot dishes and it's too hot to use or handlelunchtime weekday menu never changes the roasts are dry and overcooked I have been dining here for a few years And there was a time I got food poisoning(have contacted the health dept)I asked the staff for clean cutlery and was rudely told to leave my used cutlery on the table which was dirty and re use it when I got back.At one time a waitress chastised me for moving to a cleaner table and ordered me to go back to my table which was dirty .The staff are lazy and couldn't be bothered to bring me clean cutlery when I asked for it. Even though the manager told me they have to when a customer requestsWashed plates and cutlery have stains on them . And unlike other buffets they have no area where they have clean cutlery readily available.the manager Phil is complacent and laidback at resolving customer complaintsI complained about the time I was refused clean culterly. The ice cream bowl were dirty , the soft serve ice cream runnyTo summize compared to other star buffets Bankstown is well below standards. Incompetent complacent staff and management would not recommend it. Try Granville or Signatures at Mereylands rsl"
