"My husband was curious to try this historic restaurant but I was hesitant due to the negative reviews. We went early in the evening and there weren?t many people there. You do have to walk past the bar to get to the restaurant and there is a smell of cigarette smoke but it wasn?t overwhelming. However I could see how it could be if there were a large crowd. Our waitress was very friendly. I?m not going to say that the food is terrible because it isn?t, but it isn?t great either. A band came in and started singing before we finished our meal and they took time to talk with us before they started singing. Overall we enjoyed our visit."

"Wine Fusion is one of the best spots in Grapevine. The staff, Amanda, Alexis, Tim, Marley, Calista Cienna, Bree are amazing and they make you feel welcome. I feel like Norm from “Cheers” every time I go in, they know my favorites and have it ready when they see me walk in. The food is from scratch and they have a fantastic menu. This is definite a spot to visit when in Grapevine."

"I feel the need to express the disappointment of our experience on Tuesday night at Mason Dixie. I booked 2 groups at M D for a business dinner, both had reservations well in advance and I was assured they were able to accommodate both groups by the owner. One of our groups had a 90 minute wait for food, and when the food arrived it was inedible. Several people reported needing to cut meatloaf with their steak knife. Our other group tried to get up and leave to eat elsewhere but was literally blocked at the door by waitstaff. Two individuals in this group did not receive their food at all, the entire party was done eating when they decided to cancel their orders and leave hungry. With ample time to prepare, running out of items such as pop is unacceptable. I am disappointed in the fact that you assured me that you were able to accommodate 2 large groups and that was not the case. Whether more training or staff is needed, please be realistic with your abilities to accommodate large groups next time someone inquires. Meal type: Dinner Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1"

"The fries here are seriously some of the best we have had. We have eaten here three times now and the fries bring us back each time. I tried the chili since it's supposed to be what they are known for and was sadly disappointed. It was bland and lacking flavor. I didn't even want to finish it. My husband enjoyed their blt and my kids both loved their chicken strips and grilled cheese. Salsa was pretty good and the tortilla soup was decent. Just wished their chili was better. I would still go back for just the fries, perfectly cooked each time. Service has been great each time too. Very friendly staff"

"Daan Special Roll is surprisingly pretty good, although it looks small first. I was happy with spicy tuna roll. The volcanic roller is a must try. The real crab meat in sweet sauce is delicious. Everything else was fine. I recommend the 2 for $26 roll special. Do not have any problems with service or orders to go. They are consistent and have good prices. Music is too calm and lightning in the dining room is unpleasant."

"We celebrated my mother’s birthday and had a really great time! Wil did a very nice job serving us and we went for scallops as an appetizer, the Chilean, Seabass, and the Ahi tuna. We also enjoyed some sides and a great tomato salad. Beautiful piano music in the background and we will certainly return."
