"Visited here on Sunday after an ascent of Hartsop Dodd. Chose the broccoli and Stilton soup that was really nice, which I would recommend. The surroundings were okay within the hotel, although my chair had one wobbly side to it. The service was pleasant....Some okay real ales served and there is a huge beer garden at the front. An okay experience if you haven't been here before."
