"Great place to stay staff were always helpful and pleasant rooms were clean and new towels everyday while we were there which I loved, close to restaurants even though we had a car a walk to everywhere salamanca markets the city harbourside so many restaurants to choose from, it was the best place to stay still quiet but still so close . We loved our stay and will definitely return we had a balcony and a washer dryer in our room shower pressure was great and kitchen had everything even though we didn't use also had a fully stocked mini bar. Cafe downstairs to grab a coffee and Japanese or Italian restaurant just a few doors down if you don't want to walk far. The stacker parking is complimentary for customers we only used our vehicle twice while we were there because of the location. You don't need a vehicle if your staying here everything is available to shuttle buses and tour buses along the wharf. Thank you for a lovely stay!!!"

"Grated apple in their slaw and they would've gotten the extra star. Some out-of-the-ordinary' menu options that showed imagination and flair, lifting this a level above the usual cafe standard. Add to that generous portions (certainly the world's BIGGEST Monte Carlos and the size of...a single piece of Snickers Slice' was enough to satisfy a family or four... well, maybe that's a little exaggerated but it was big and friendly service and locals obviously have a winner in their midst. I came in for a morning coffeee who Le working around the corner and hVing asked a local where I could get a good cup of coffee Was directed here and they weren't wrong. While waiting for the coffee I checked out the lunch menu and realised I'd indentified my venue for lunch. Two items particularly appealed, a pulled pork burger with home made slaw, fried onion rings and chilli mayo and waffle nachos' potato waffles with pulled beef, mild Mexican sauce, salsa, sour cream and avocado. I went with the pork burger. Personally, I like grated/shredded apple in my slaw with pulled pork, and maybe a splash of cider vinegar and the chilli was a bit light on for my taste but it was nevertheless DELICIOUS and not unreasonably priced. If I'd been here for two days I would have gone back for the nachos!"

"Take coffee is good if you find down this end of the city. Food in a warm experience to a sad shadow. The service was never brilliant, but now is just sad. About low-priced small portions. Grief

"I was in Hobart recently for work and on the last morning I asked our client for a recommendation for a good spot for brekky near to his office. He suggested the cafe up the laneway just up from the Brunswick; and so I found Coterie and Co. The menu looked terrific, including the mortgage-inhibitor, but knowing my lunch would be a choice of bread or bread, I skipped the smashed avo and opted for the house-made granola with poached pear and yoghurt. Delicious."
