"Loved the outside seats, along with the other restaurants, on a small charming street. there were also some sitting opportunities in the interior. recommend to enjoy their reservation at 7:30 or 20:00 clock, the light that goes down finally becomes dark to soak in the atmosphere. make them repulsive on bugs as the crumbs can get out during the warm evenings. Of course, outdoor seating in france means that they sit a smoking neighbour next to them. the server the rest of the staff was very nice professional. about eating, we loved some dishes we weren't too crazy. the amuse bouche had served a very refreshing cold suppe in a glass and the watermelon cheese was good. the other two were a little undescribed. all fish dishes were excellent, but we could have done without some of the frothy. deconstructed fruit crumb was great and well paired with the espresso. we did not like the chocolate cake too much with carrots. the pickle overwhelmed the plate. the prosecco was served a little warm. all in all, edible, but wish that all the dishes were more consistent."

"My friend and I had lunch in la cour boulegon today and it was absolutely great. we sat outside in the small courtyard in the back where I would suggest getting a table. we both ordered the derecote with frit. the entrecote was rarely what was really excellent. the rituals were just the best I ever had. I'm not sure how they were done, but I don't think they've ever seen a deep frit. I like simple French lunch and this was out of the upper drawer. I am a few weeks in aix and expect to be back. not that I am too much worth on the price, but it was much cheaper than I would expect to pay for a similar meal in london or paris where I eat most of my (extensive) food."

"Amazing restaurant. The vegan hot dog was the best one I ever ate. My husband tried a hot dog with meat and said it was delicious as well. The portion are very generous and the french fries are so taste doesn 't even need a sauce (like keetchup) together. To finish the service it 's amazing, the waitress very sweet. Just be careful cause if you do t reserve you may not get a table. But worth it. Vraiment chapeau."

"Our family just ate gorgeous cookies from a little stall in Aix-en-Provence. The salted caramel cookie was a chewy, sweet, melt-in-the-mouth sensation. The cookies were organic and fair trade and the seller was very friendly with excellent English."
