"This gem has been around since the mid 80s and has gone through a lot. As you walk in, take the time to read the many news articles that adorn the wall to know more about their history. The restaurant only seats about 28 people. I can see that they used a couple of tables for their makeshift delivery prep area.I must confess that I've never been to New Orleans, but it is definitely on my bucket list of places to go. Les Sisters' Southern Kitchen is a little bit of New Orleans in Chatsworth. Tucked in between a barber shop and massage parlor, the unassuming restaurant is a beacon for those searching for a little slice of heaven.Short on time, we opted to get two of their most famous dishes...fried chicken and shrimp etouffee. Sides include black eyed peas and rice and candied yams. The etouffee has plenty of shrimps in every bite. And the dish can feed two people. The fried chicken can come regular or Cajun. I got half of each flavor. Juicy, flavorful and goes great with the yellow peppers.A bit pricey but we'll worth it!Ambiance 9/10Cleanliness 8/10Service 10/10Bathrooms 8/10Value 8/10Will I Return? "You cant miss the bright red building on Charles St. The ample parking lots across the street make finding a spot a breeze.The bar is huge, clean and beautifully designed.The tap system is great, loads of beers on tap. Absolutely fantastic selection.Clean menu, nice variation of foods.We ordered the Irish Tater Kegs. Extra large size tater tots stuffed with corned beef, swiss, and sauerkraut. The husband ordered Bangers and Mashed sausages, mashed potatoes with caramelized onions, and I ordered a Giancaria Coal fired pizza. The food was excellent, served pretty quickly, food presentation was pleasing. The staff were super friendly, informative, fun. The mix of people at the bar on a sunday afternoon was a nice mix old and young, couples, and buddies. Seating was comfortable, lighting was bright and airy. All in all a great place to try. Food wasnt too expensive."

"Super delicious food here at Bobs. Found this place on Yelp after our whale watch trip and glad I did. Cute outdoor patio with plenty of shade. We both had the clam chowder which was full of clams and hot and tasty. We both ate all of it. Then I had the penn cove mussels in white wine broth. I love mussels and these were very good to me- the broth especially! Hubs got the 3 piece Halibut and chips. So very good- the batter is crispy and cooked perfectly. Serious stop here to eat and ignore the bad reviews- this place was amazing!!"
