"Excellent sandwich I recommend to everyone and bring out of town and out of country visitors to, after a visit to Platters for dessert! Jim's has fresh great b and fresh perfect every time sandwich fillings and the combos like chicken dinner with steak are unexpectedly delicious. Place is low key with ability to talk together without the background noise so common at places those place is my go to whatever side of town we are on! Food is great at every location not the case with most places I've found"

"I'm on the Dr. Gundry diet. If away from home his sometimes tricky to get meals right. I had the turkey bacon avacado sand switch. It comes on sourdough bread (good) and it was easy to remove the tomato slices (I would have asked, not, but forget).. Pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff. Put the works on your list when you visit Amherst MA."

"Cant go wrong! I've been to this Anderson's and the one in Williamsville on Main St. Always delicious food and custard/ice cream with good service. I associate this restaurant with Beef on Weck and Sahlen's hot dogs but the chicken tenders were just as good."

"I had been sent off by a few people because I LOVE prime rib. I had just heard great things about the restaurant. Unfortunately the whole experience was disappointing for us. We had reserved at the open table and requested a stand. When we got there, the hostess didn't confirm our reservation when we told her we booked them online and still got us to a table. She was our waitress and was pretty good. The drinks were well made but small for the price. We ordered the prime rib. I got the girls cut and my husband got the kings cut which is about a $ 20 difference in price. When they came out, they were exactly the smaller portion I ordered in length and thickness. We ordered medium rarity (which it came out like that), but it had no flavor and was extremely tough. If there's one thing I love almost as much as prime rib, it's ranch dressing. It was chunky and tasted terrible. (and no, it wasn't blue cheese) To get our USD 100 bill at the end of our meal, we were both utterly disappointed with the entire meal. The quality did not reflect the cost."

"All great except it was a 70th birthday and nothing was done. Was asked if it was a special occasion when we booked with opentable and again when we were seated. Why ask if you do not intend to do anything? Our server was great...we only downgraded the service rating because of the above."

"My family and I are it from the area and stopped for dinner on the way to PEI. The food portions were large (which is great) and the atmosphere was awesome. If I am anywhere need Amherst again we will stop here."

"We were seated immediately and provided with the lunch menu. I found it amusing that there was one page of food but several of beverages. Wed each found a different item to try. I was offered the opportunity to switch my fries for a salad but was not told there was an additional charge for the salad. Food arrived quickly as there was only one other table of diners there. We sampled Rockway wines as well. We weren't rushed and enjoyed watching the golfers from our window seat. Because there are so many fine restaurants in the area I might not choose Rockway when we visit the area but I would certainly recommend it to others.I am in a wheelchair and the facility is very accessible"
