"I've waited a long time to visit but I'm glad I finally did. Very good service and excellently prepared and presented food. They were able to very kindly fit me in at short notice. There was a large selection of drinks and the view is lovely on a bright day. My only recommendation would be to skip the pop music! However to their credit they have the volume at a sensibly low level, unlike far too many other restaurants and bars. Would go again."

"Have had two meals so far and one entree. Garlic loaf was nice. Plenty of butter on the bread and happily supplied more butter. Had the chicken schnitzel. Heap of garlic sauce for the schnitzel so the extra went well with the chips. 2nd meal was the stuffed chicken breast. Sauce was already on the breast so didn't have extra but both meals delicious. Favorite so far is the schnitzel."

"I've never been there before so we decided to have afternoon tea there today. We both had Devonshire Tea. The scones were as light as a feather and two whole scones each instead of one scone cut in 2. Lavishly spread with jam and cream and a pot of real leaf tea and not just a tea bag in a pot. The staff were wonderful and we will certainly return. The prices amazed me because I expected a place visited by tourists to be a lot dearer. We didn't get to walk in the beautiful gardens because we had an appoinment to go to"

"Loved my meal The wine was amazing but as I was driving I only took a couple of sips The garlic bread didn't taste like garlic bread, could only taste the herbs really.The other meals did not go down very well. Not much flavour bit bland.Was very noisy in there due to some over the top ladies who love their wineWe had a mix up with our booking but the amazing staff let us sit in there and then.Was a great night and went home totally bloated and satisfied. Do stop in but book before heading there"

"Tasty, generous portions!!! Thank you Mecca Restaurant Many reviews say the pasty is oily.....well, geniine Italian food IS oily because they use alot of oil. The first photo is of the delicious Carbonara I purchased from Mecca on their Tuesday $15 pasta night. The 2nd picture is from the venue across the road same pasta order, but look at the half empty container which I was charged $21 for Order your pasta from Mecca....it's fabulous!!"

"Was so nice to have it opened till late 8 so I could have my only meal here after my exhausting shifts. I usually do takeaways but you have the option of dining in here like another ordinary subway: quick and friendly service. I got a diet coke with my footlong bbq pulled pork white bread subway: wish it was bit more spicy but can't complain for what customers expect. Also I guess they have all day breakfast options. Bit tricky to find parking during the daytime on the busy street but at night for me has never been an issue."
