"Excellent high street baker shop and cafe with capable and helpful, polite staff. Hot or cold savouries and cakes to eat in or take away. Prices are fairly average for the type of service. Asher's is an established family business and a firm favourite in Nairn. Highly recommended!"

"Been ordering from you now and again for long now but compare 2008 and 2018 shop went from nice amazing food to terrible. Made order tonight for chicken kebab and by taste one bite and look at it I'm actually scared to eat it and made me no being hungry anymore it's absolutely disgusting how each time I order food it's getting worse and worse ...shame used to like this place thats my chicken kebab from tonight order :"

"Found this wee gem of a place on the way home whilst walking. Food always great scrambled eggs are brilliant and the soup is always piping hot and bowl size plentiful. Prices are so reasonable. Well worth a visit. Place is run by volunteers who...are always so friendly and welcoming."

"Overall a good meal. We ordered a take away and everything was piping hot and freshly prepared. My Ceylon vegetable curry was delicious, Channa Bhuna Chick Pea had just the right spiciness and onion bhaji really crispy. The chicken tikka masala was very pink but tasted good. I would go back and I would recommend"

"The Sunday carvery is always excellent but on this occasion there was an inordinately long wait for drinks and a couple of our party didn't get the correct drinks at the first attempt. On a side note, I thought there could have been more hand sanitiser about the place, especially at the dessert cart where serving spoons etc are handled by multiple people."

"This still working Fort is well worth the visit and the place is huge with plenty to see but when you need some food and drink the Cafe within the Fort does not disappoint. Not very big but comfortable and their is seating outside which is handy for Dog owners. Their Bacon Bap is formidable and very tasty whilst the ladies ha=d Toasted-Teacakes with their tea. Service is very good with friendly helpful staff. Well worth a visit."

"We came here for brunch earlier in the week and it was good. I had the vegan option as there isn’t a vegetarian option and so I added egg to my breakfast The breakfast was very tasty and the only issue was the poached egg was hard and not enjoyable the rest of the meal was very good quality and very tasty My husband enjoyed the breakfast and said the haggis and black pudding was excellent quality and cleaned his plate The cappuccinos were excellent too Was £25 for two breakfasts and coffee but good quality and full plates so to be expected but is definitely on expensive side We will be back soon though for a treat"
