"The food and the alcohol is always top notch in this pub, which contains veggie and vegan food, so all taste directions are for. djs are regular and it attracts large Muso varieties in these nights as well as beautiful locals. a great little alcohol!"

"Wowsers was this bad, arrived sat at a table that you could barely breathe it was so squashed in, they kindly moved us only to forget the bread and drinks we had paid for, starters were poor, main courses were actually lovely the desert was supposed to be ice cream strawberries and cream and all they gave our son was a tiny tub of ice cream when I spoke to the manager for the 3rd time she said I'll speak to the kitchen and I said you've done the same to every other child in here so I offered to go round the restaurant letting the other parents know obviously this didn't go down well so rather than try and resolve the issue the manager then said I only work in sales and walked off. We have been once before and it was good but Father's Day was absolutely awful and I'll never go back it was so bad. All in all the actual food was not bad but the service was so bad I almost can't explain enough just how bad and rude it was."

"Booked here for dinner as it came up when I was looking for steak in Sussex for my husband's birthday. Slightly dubious due to number of reviews, but one review absolutely raved about the Chateaubriand, and they were not wrong. Melt in your mouth steak,...incredible flavour and cooked to perfection! Credit to the chef, it truly was the best steak we have eaten in the UK and we have dined at some very exclusive restaurants who claim to have the best. They don't. It's here! We had the creamed potato, spinach and broccoli as sides. All equally delicious. For afters we had the sticky toffee pudding with stem ginger, and oh my! Wonderful. It was a quiet mid week night, service was quick but relaxed. Music was well chosen and suited the vibe. For drinks, they have a very good menu. A good selection of Whiskey, Rum, wines, spirits and good sized virgin cocktails (see photo for the berry). The only suggestion I'd make is to add a Dalmore or Macallan to the menu. But just a suggestion, not a complaint. The leather upholstery and wood in this restaurant and bar, just makes everything so enjoyable. Even the toilets are impeccable. I don't think I've ever written such a glowing review. I'm very picky with my food, drink and interiors. But this just ticked all the boxes. We will definitely be visiting again and have already recommended friends and family to dine here. My only regret is I didn't order a larger cut! Thank you to all front of house and kitchen staff!"

"We have visited The Gallery before, but this time decided to have an early Christmas Lunch. Excellent experience from start to finish, lovely food, and so encouraging to see the students, ably supported by Stacey and her team, develop and gain in confidence you could see during the meal as some of the students relaxed a little they were making progress, and they were so focused on what they were doing. Reassuring to know that these sort of training and development facilities still exist for students, long may it continue."

"Absolutely vile and not ordering again. Sometimes it can be good. Or sometimes you get reheated grey looking food. Also you can taste the dirty wok they’ve used and not cleaned properly."
