"Can't fault the food. Probably the most consistent Chinese place I have been to in Victoria.I have only gotten take-out but visit quite regularly as live close byI would actually give it 4.5 for food. We have tried the cheaper dinner for ones and had some fancier dishes too...All round it's a quality Chinese takeaway!!One gripe is the grumpy staff!! Honestly, I just find it funny now but come on guys give us a smile!!"

"Ordered from here while working out of town recently. Ordered the Thai red curry chicken and veg with rice and crispy spring rolls. Pros: Tonnes of food for the price! Quality ingredients. The chicken was all nice cuts of white meat, veggies were very fresh, varied and plentiful. Sauce Not too spicy but really nice flavour. The spring rolls were huge! I had easily enough left over for next day’s lunch and it was right around $20. Cons: no dipping sauce for spring rolls, weird. Delivery driver was less than friendly. Will try the fried chicken from their sister restaurant within the same location next time I am there as I hear they are good too."

"I came in a few minutes early before the restaurant was actually open. I was greeted with a kind and friendly waitress. I asked if it would be all right if I sat inside while she finished opening and she politely said yes. She also handed me the menu and Ireplied that I knew what I wanted. A medium bowl of the Wor Won Ton soup that was served to me within minutes hot and delicious.I ordered another one to bring home for my mother as we use to dine in and enjoy the Wor Won Ton. It is delicious and the bestin town. Thank you again for great customer service and a delicious bowl of Wor Won Ton Soup."

"I ordered take out at a later time which they had accommodated! Very pleased.When I got there I decided I didnt want the coke I ordered and the waitress gave me grief about the 1.95 (over priced) can of coke. She said I had to open the bag if I didnt want it any more.I figured maybe she had a long day and smiled - still tipped her too. Besides the lack of customer service skills the meal was prepared very quickly.The food was sub par, as most chinese food is in victoria. All of it is the same and nothing distinguishes one from another in regards to quality. Nothing is authentic, or cooked to say "hotel" standard.Anyways - I ordered combo for 2 - sweet and sour pork wasnt crispy - the chow mein which was their sun wah mein was decent! I actually enjoyed this.The chopped chicken and cashew chop suey now was rediculous. It was the weakest excuse for chop suey ive ever had. There werent any bean sprouts, zero egg, no cabbage -it was literally mirepoix (probably frozen) tossed with mushrooms, soggy chicken and salted cashews.My overall experience was displeasing and would have given one star - but i gotta give some credit for the speedy service. Wont be going back."

"I rode my bicycle to Lotus Pond from Vic West. I spoke to Laithe on the phone as I made my order. As I have remarked in my earlier review of Affinity Vegetarian Garden, it is uncommon to find a completely vegan Chinese restaurant. Lotus Pond does a plant-based spin on the Americanized Chinese classic. I was not in love with the packaging, but I appreciate their desire to keep everyone safe by restricting their dine in services. I enjoyed the meal, encouraging anyone who is considering Chinese takeout, to opt for Lotus Pond."
